Narvel Blackstock’s Early Life

Narvel Blackstock was born on January 9th, 1968 in Daytona Beach, Florida. Narvel’s father was a bus driver and his mother worked as a cashier. At the age of four, Narvel moved with his family to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Narvel attended George Washington High School in Philadelphia and played football and basketball.
Narvel Blackstock played football at Brown University from 1985-1987. After completing his collegiate career at Brown, Narvel joined the Washington Redskins as an undrafted free agent in 1989. In 1990, he was signed by the Miami Dolphins but spent most of the 1990 season on injured reserve. The next year, he signed with the Chicago Bears and became their starting tight end.\.

In 1995, Narvel Blackstock left the NFL and signed with the Canadian Football League’s Edmonton Eskimos. He spent six seasons with Edmonton where he helped them win two Grey Cups (the Canadian equivalent of the Super Bowl). In 2000, Narvel Blackstock returned to the NFL as a member of the Cincinnati Bengals. He retired from football in 2002 after playing for the Arizona Cardinals and Oakland Raiders.
Narvel Blackstock is currently an assistant coach for Brown University’s football team.

Narvel Blackstock is most well known for his roles as Daryl on the AMC television series The Walking Dead and Bobby on ABC’s hit show Designated Survivor. He has also starred in films such as The Fate of the Furious and Nocturnal Animals. Narvel currently serves as a series regular on Hulu’s new horror anthology series, Castle Rock.

Controversies

Narvel Blackstock, a Republican candidate for state representative in Georgia, made national headlines in February when he was arrested and charged with misdemeanor assault after an incident at his home. The 32-year-oldhas since denied any wrongdoing, claiming that the charge is politically motivated.

Blackstock’s campaign has come under fire from both his opponents and supporters for his handling of the situation. One critic has called him “a disgrace” while another has said that he should drop out of the race because of the distraction it is causing.
